Submission for the 2025 SAfA meeting is a two-step process:

• Session submissions will be accepted first, between September 15, 2024 and October 31, 2024. The Session Submission portal can be accessed via this link: CLICK HERE.
  
  The program committee will email decisions to accept or decline session submissions in November, 2024. Additionally, the program committee will announce a list of special sessions on specific topics that are open to all attendees.
  
• Individual submissions for all oral and poster presentations will be accepted between December 1, 2024  and January 31, 2025. The program committee will email decisions to accept or decline session submissions in February, 2025 to all individual contributors and chairs of symposia and poster sessions.

Organization for the SAfA 2025 meeting is being led by the Interdisciplinary Center for Archaeology and the Evolution of Human Behavior (ICArEHB). ICArEHB is an organization of over 100 researchers and Ph.D. students at UAlg dedicated to the study of the ecological, biological, and cultural coevolution of modern humans. Recognized with the highest evaluation from the Portuguese National Science Foundation in 2019, ICArEHB has since solidified itself as a new and upcoming frontrunner in European archaeological science with a global impact in the field of human evolution studies.
